FAITH-BASED THERAPY FOR CHRISTIANS
I work with Christians who want to grow emotionally and relationally without feeling like they have to leave their faith at the door.
Therapy with me is both faith-informed and evidence-based, so we’re not ignoring your faith, and we’re not ignoring what’s actually going on either. That means we can talk about your thoughts, emotions, and patterns honestly, while also respecting your beliefs and values.
“You don’t have to separate your faith from your mental health.”
For some clients, faith is central to how they make sense of their experiences. For others, it’s something they’re still figuring out.
Wherever you are, therapy is a space where you don’t have to:
• explain or defend your beliefs
• worry about them being dismissed
• feel pressured into a “just pray about it” response
At the same time, you won’t be pushed into anything that doesn’t align with you.
This is about integration, not pressure.
What Faith-Integrated Therapy Looks Like
In our work together, we:
• explore emotional and relational patterns using evidence-based approaches
• talk through real-life situations without over-spiritualizing them
• make space for your faith when it’s important to you
• support growth that aligns with both your values and your mental health
Sometimes that includes:
• processing relationship struggles
• working through people-pleasing or perfectionism
• navigating church dynamics or expectations
• rebuilding confidence and identity
And sometimes it simply means having a space where you can be honest about what you’re feeling without filtering yourself.
What This Means in Practice
You deserve support that doesn’t minimize your emotions or your beliefs.
You don’t have to choose between:
• being emotionally healthy
• and being spiritually grounded
You can be both.
I offer online Christian therapy across Ontario for individuals who want to understand their patterns, build healthier relationships, and grow in a way that feels aligned with who they are and what they believe.
Therapy That Respects Both Your Faith and Your Mental Health
